Make a meaningful art object to hang on the wall of Labyrinth, Sam Durant’s site-specific maze at Thomas Paine Plaza, which symbolizes the challenges of navigating the criminal justice system. Over the course of October, watch Durant’s structure go from transparent to opaque, as people from all over Philadelphia and beyond contribute their own personal items to the structure’s walls. This free public workshop will be led by Jesse Krimes, a former inmate now working internationally as an artist, curator, and instructor.
Support for Sam Durant’s project provided by the Ford Foundation
